HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

What is CPR?

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure that combines chest compressions with artificial ventilation in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function until a professional arrives, it’s important to save a life by restoring spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person who is in cardiac arrest.

Who will need to take this course?

Any individual who would like to be trained in the CPR procedure(s), and anyone who holds a First Aid certificate will need to do the CPR training every 12 months to keep the First Aid training valid.

How long will the CPR training be valid?

Valid for 12 Months, CPR training will need to be refreshed every 12 months to keep it valid.
